Owner coverage

Paid plans renew annually after explicit agreement. The trial does not convert automatically. A new subscription after a lapse starts a new purchased period without backpayment for retained storage. Only annual subscriptions are offered at launch. Upgrades, cancellation, retry schedules and any billing grace follow the managing purchase channel. Account billing and deletion controls remain available while suspended.

Store subscriptions and deletion

One channel manages each owner subscription. Coverage works across web, iOS and Android. Apple and Google subscriptions are managed in their stores; deleting your Leave for later account does not itself cancel store renewal. We provide store cancellation controls and still allow immediate account deletion. A store-applied downgrade never deletes files to fit: all owned vaults share the plan storage allowance. If total storage exceeds that allowance, owner vault actions are limited to clearing until usage fits or the plan is upgraded. The same restriction applies after non-payment suspension. Newer vaults beyond the plan count are locked; count-only locked vaults can be cleared or deleted. Existing large individual files may remain. Recipient access remains independently governed, and periodic storage reminders explain the available choices.

Access requests

An access pack is sensitive. Anyone who obtains it may request access after signing in and completing verification. The service does not determine death, incapacity or legal authority. The owner’s waiting period, payment and current source availability govern recipient access.

Recipient payment

A recipient purchase provides 90 days of access from payment success. Owners may amend or delete information, revoke access or delete the source vault during that period. Payments are non-refundable under the commercial policy, except where applicable law or the purchase provider requires a refund or other remedy. Copies already obtained cannot be recalled.

Recovery responsibilities

Keep your vault password, recovery key and access pack secure. The provider cannot recover vault secrets or manually override account authentication. Losing every usable vault secret may permanently prevent access to the contents.
