Make a thoughtful start
You don’t have to organise everything at once.
A few useful details are a good beginning.
Add important files and personal notes to your private vault. Your separate vault password protects what’s inside.
Keep an access pack with your estate plans or give it to someone you trust. It works for people you haven’t identified in advance.
When someone requests access, your chosen waiting period gives you time to intervene. Eligible recipients then choose whether to pay for 90 days of access.
Private by design
Files, notes and their descriptions are encrypted on your device. Your account sign-in and vault password serve different purposes.
Understand access and recoverySigning in or recovering your account does not open your information. Keep your separate recovery key safe.
You can stop requests, revoke access or delete your vault. Information someone has already downloaded or independently copied cannot be recalled.
We attempt to notify you about requests. Access may proceed after the wait even if notifications cannot reach you. The service does not verify death.
